If you have not yet joined TBAM (TEN BUCKS A MONTH Club), would you please consider doing so now?
All money donated goes to pay for getting our buildings out of the floodplain. There has never been a time like now when we all realize just how essential this is for the future of CGC.
Since 2019, two major flash floods have done ~$1M in damage. The importance to construct a new building that will replace all buildings presently in the floodplain resonates with most people. One building can do it all, and ten bucks a month can pay for it all!
CGC has a new website dedicated to summarize concisely why TBAM funds are so important. Share this site with people you know who love this place, for ministry that has happened here and what will happen over the next 50 years of ministry.
Take a look at the Dining Hall Complex floor plan below. We are now securing bids from architects for the project. Next we will begin interviewing contractors.
If you would like to receive a PDF of the floorplan to make it easier to see, send request email to Finley Knowles.

LET'S PRAY TOGETHER
As I look over our prayer list, it's easy to see how each item relates to a lack of funding. Please don't tire of continuing to pray about these necessities. We are praying and waiting with patience.
ANSWERED PRAYER:
You have been praying for flooring for the ground level of Johnson Lodge. We had $10K and need $4K in addition. They put exactly what we wanted on sale, and we were able to purchase all we needed for $10K. I am thankful for God's provision! I am also thankful for everyone who prayed and donated.
NEW ITEM FOR PRAYER:
CGC is preparing to file a second appeal to FEMA's decision that we are not an eligible entity. Pray for God's hand to carry along this process. FEMA would owe us over $200K which would take care of the shortfall we've been carrying for the last three years.
CONTINUE TO PRAY:
The floods have always taken out golf carts, and something else always takes priority when it comes to replacing them.
Since our most recent flood in August 2021, the Westmoreland Youth Chapel has been dormant. CGC struggles to accommodate guests without that space. We need around $25,000 to get it ready for use.

From Last Month: Update about CGC's appeal of FEMA's determination that the campground is not an eligible organization. on 11/2/22, the TN state FEMA rep apologized for the delay in a ruling about CGC's appeal.
This Month: It's time for us to make our 2nd (and final) appeal. God has connected CGC with a consulting firm that specializes in FEMA disqualifications and denials. And the firms fee is contingent on CGC receiving FEMA money. No money awarded? We don't pay the firm.

Update on
Johnson Lodge Room Remodeling
Seven rooms completed. Another three rooms finishing up for the new year. Ten rooms so far out of 24! That's progress.
Can you believe it's been three years since we introduced the campaign to remodel all 24 rooms in Johnson Lodge? It costs around $5K to remodel a room, and the plan is to go room by room using any funds designated for Johnson Lodge Remodel Project.
The plan is working. Through special donations we have completed 7 rooms and are finishing up another three rooms in the next few weeks. Also, we have funds on hand to begin two more rooms!
What a Remodeled Room Includes:
What the NEW CABINS
will look like
The Cabin consists of 4 pods that hold 20 people each. Doors 1 and 4 lead to the upper level. Each pod will have private restrooms. The capacity of the cabin will be an increase of 80, 30 above the former dorm capacity.
